07/07/2008		Marion		The Grant County Family YMCA is running the authorized "Johnny G. Spinning" program, starting Mondy, July 7th. Class size is limited to 10 riders per class, however, there are numerous class times available. Cost is $10 per month for members, and $7 per class for guests.
07/08/2008		Marion		The Grant County Family YMCA is offering a 4-wk. yoga class on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6:15pm to 7pm. The new session of classes begins Tuesday, July 8th. Cost is free for members and $15 for non-members.
07/08/2008		Marion		On Tuesday, July 8th, the Grant County Family YMCA will begin a new 4-week Corepole & Exercise class to work on strength, cardio, flexibility and stability. The class will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:45am to 8:30am and from 4:45pm to 5:30pm, and is limited to 13 participants per class. Cost is $10 per month for members and $15 per month for guests.

07/12/2008		Upland, IN		There are several fundraisers being hosted in Upland, proceeds going towards the adoption of a flood victim family. Events include a car wash and bake sale in the Upland Star Bank parking lot on Saturday, July 12th. Car was and bake sale times are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  The Upland Volunteer Fire Dept. is also hosting their 5th annual Cruise-In car show from 4 to 8 p.m. Proceeds go towards new firefighting equipment, as well as towards flood victims. The Upland Garden Club is also hosting a Garden Tour from 10 am to 2 pm the same day.
